We build technology for the people who step toward danger so others do not have to. Graylark gives frontline teams the clarity to act while the moment still matters.
01/The gap
Research should reach the people who need it.
Some of the most useful applied-AI research never reaches the people who could use it. Graylark was built to close that gap.
That question led Daniel Heinen and his cofounders to build Graylark, and its first public experiment became GeoSpy.
02/GeoSpy
A two-week experiment found a much larger need.
GeoSpy began as an image-geolocation experiment. Investigators showed what it could become: a way to turn photographs with no metadata, obvious landmarks or reliable context into leads a person could verify.
Their use of GeoSpy also revealed a larger need—investigations rarely ask only where an image was captured.
03/Raven
The experiment became a system.
That work became Raven, Graylark’s first frontline intelligence system. Raven retains image geolocation and expands into Street Targeting, vehicle identification and visual-authenticity analysis.
Backed to build
